Welcome Reception: Musical Performance by QUARTETOUKAN

QUARTETOUKAN is an exciting musical project that brings together cultures and peoples through songs and melodies. The show combines East and West, bringing together a rare encounter between Fairuz, Bialik, and Leah Goldberg; as well as Flamenco, Klezmer and Arabic folk music. The project grew out of a collaboration among four musicians of various cultures, joining together in one fascinating show during which the listener passes through a type of musical journey that mirrors the multicultural Israeli society of today. From this journey stems a cultural richness ‒ a basis for listening, for dialogue, and for human harmony.
The Quartet's first album QUARTETOUKAN – A Crossroad of Cultures was released in June 2013. Their second album, based on original compositions, was released in October 2016.

World Premiere of the new documentary "CORONER", in the presence of Prof. Thomas T. Noguchi, former chief Coroner of LA County, the series producer, and others. The screening of the new series will be followed by a panel discussion.
Closing & Awards Session

Thursday September 5th we will be conducting the closing plenary session and award presentation.
The World Association for Medical Law is proud to announce that starting from the 24th World Congress on Medical Law and Ethics in Tel Aviv, September 2018, the bi-annually Davies Awards will be presented to selected, talented scientific contributes, whose abstracts have been accepted to the final program.
For the 2018 World Congress the chosen themes for the Davies Award Competition are; Right to Health; Public Health; Old Age and Gerontology
The Young Scientist Awards (under 35 inclusive) will recognize one outstanding papers and one outstanding posters.
The awardee will receive: 1) Certificate, 2) One year WAML Membership, 3) Complimentary registration for one of the next two Congress'
